Rene's coaching philosophy is focused on developing strong individual and team soccer skills, knowledge of the game, and building passion for the wonderful sport of soccer. In the past, he has coached Bay Oaks teams from U9 to U19, as well as fulfilling many duties of a director prior to the club utilizing a Director of Coaching. Rene has also coached youth players at Piedmont, Head Royce, and McClymonds high schools. He was a Co-Coach in the ODP U15 program, coached at the College of Alameda, and has coached various adult teams in the area. Rene hold a

Played at the highest levels in Holland's youth and amateur leagues. Local youth coaching experience with Bay Oaks, Frans Hoek Camps, and Ballistic SC. Years of coaching experience in Rotterdam and with Hollands youth clubs of all ages. Sennay holds a UEFA B Coaching License.

Bay Oaks sets a new standard with its Bay Oaks Jr Coachesprogram
Our Bay Oaks Jr Coaches are current Bay Oaks players (U11-U19) who are learning at early ages to teach other younger players. Our Bay Oaks Jr Coaches learn the finer points in coaching and become role models for their younger counterparts. In addition to being assistants at Bay Oaks Academies our Jr Coaches become leaders on their teams and are becoming extensions to the coaching staff as these players typically can coach within the game as they've learned the finer arts of working with other players earlier in their career.
