Finishing Training Academy - Spring 2015
Dear EBU-Bay Oaks U13-U14 State-Regional and U15-U18 players and parents,
We are excited to offer another successful program for our players in the U13-U14 / U15-U18 EBU Bay Oaks Finishing Training Academy!
This new program will be organized by EBU-Bay Oaks DOC Glenn van Straatum and his support staff.
Program Schedule :
EBU Bay Oaks Finishing Training Academy sessions will be as follows
- U13/U14 starts Friday March 20th - 4:15-5:30 pm (for 8 weeks) at Alameda Pt 1 (max players is 32)
- U15/U16 (and select U17/18s) starts Friday March 20th - 5:45-7:00 pm (for 8 weeks) at Alameda Pt 1 (max players is 32) (-Also U13/U14s who cannot make the early session are encouraged to make the second session with the U15/U16s)

EBU Bay Oaks Finishing Training Academy Program Details
Finishing (goal scoring) is one, if not the most important part of the game. How many times have you seen a team create wonderful goal scoring opportunities only to see the final action miss the target!
The new Finishing Training Academy will focus on the art of finishing in and around the penalty box. The nature will be to teach technical finishing techniques, but also putting it in game situations.
This program is designed to minimize the misses and maximize efficiency in front of goal.
This program is designed to reinforce EBU 'Individual Player Development'.
Target Age-Groups
Players U13/U14 (Fridays - Session 1) and U15-U16 (and select U17/18) (Fridays -Sessions 2)
Program Cost :
- U13-/U14 and U15-U18 State Players can join the program FREE of charge (boys & girls) as part of their EBU BO registration fee (Discount code will be sent to the teams) (These sessions are mixed genders)

U13/U14 Regional players can sign up at a cost of $125 per player (Regional players pay substantially less registration fees than State players). However, if your coach has decided to take advantage of this program as your 2nd day of practice the program will be FREE (coaches who have chosen this option have been tasked to contact EBU Registrar so she can copy the entire team roster into program registration data base so no cost is incurred by team families)

For U15-U18 Regional players can sign up on an individual basis only at a cost of $125 per player. For U15-U18 State players, it is based on individual players desires to become better and training not to be in conflict with your primary team’s training days/times.
Registration : Every Player interested MUST register (if free or not)

- For Regional Players who have Finishing as they second session in the week can sign up with a Regional Discount code from their coach, your Age-Group Coaching Director or contact DOC Glenn Van Straatum at [email protected]
- For Regional Players for whom this is their 3rd day can opt into the finishing program by signing up for $125
- All level players are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the finishing program as scoring goals only becomes easier when you get more confident and compost in and around the penalty box.
