Competitive Soccer U9-U19

East Bay United fields more than 75 competitive teams of players aged 8-19 years old.  All EBU competitive teams play under the Bay Oaks name.

Our State level teams play with and against players of the highest ability and participate in Premier, Gold and Silver flights of the Norcal Premier League.  We are a member of the National Premier League where our top U14-19 teams compete.  We are one of the select clubs (approximately 80 in the U.S.) who are part of the U.S. Soccer Federation Development Academy for the U13/14 age level.  One of our Bay Oaks teams is a member of the USYS National League, another competed in the National Cup and many of our Bay Oaks teams play in top tournaments throughout the West Coast.  State level teams generally participate in State Cup and train 3 days a week.

Our Regional level teams are mid-level competitive.  They compete in the Silver flight of the Norcal Premier League and the Bronze and Copper flights of the Norcal Region ¾ league.  Regional teams generally do not participate in State Cup and train 2 days a week (often with an option to train for a third day) and requires a reduced time, travel and financial commitment than a State level team while still providing professional coaching and good competition.  It is common for Regional level players to move up to State teams as their commitment and ability increases.

Our Bay Oaks program focuses on developing all of our players and coaches.  We try to instill a growth mindset in our players and help them develop resiliency.  At each age group and level, we focus on how to develop the technical, tactical, physical and psychological attributes necessary to succeed at the next level.

We want to foster a life-long passion for soccer.  Our State program is focused on developing players so that they can succeed in college soccer programs.  We have an extensive mentoring program for our high school athletes to help them navigate the recruiting landscape.
