Financial Aid Guidelines

East Bay United has a generous financial aid program and is committed to assisting every child who wants to play soccer. We offer three levels: 25%, 50% or 75% of the registration fee may be covered by financial aid. Financial aid does not cover team fees, uniforms or other team expenses.

The following are EBU's financial aid guidelines. These are only guidelines and there will be exceptions to the guidelines. All applicants must fill out the EBUSC Financial Aid Application Form.

Less than $50,000 per Household
Possibly 75% financial aid / scholarship support
Possibly 100% financial aid / scholarship support depending on the individual situation and facts

Between $50,000 but less than $75,000 per Household
Possibly 50% financial aid / scholarship support
Possibly more depending on number of children playing in EBU – Bay Oaks teams

Between $75,000 but less than $100,000 per Household
Possibly 25% financial aid / scholarship support
Possibly more depending on number of children playing in EBU – Bay Oaks teams

If you are unable to download the Financial Aid Form above, ask your coach to mail the Form or ask a Financial Aid committee volunteer to do so at [email protected]. The FA Forms include instructions on where to submit the form and supporting documentation. We will try to get back to everyone quickly. The applicant must complete and return the FA Forms within a week of being offered a spot on the team. We are working on a system that will allow for pre-approval if you complete the forms at tryouts so players know if they qualify before they have to tell us whether they have accepted an offer to join a team.
