Diversity
EBUSC has over 2,500 players drawn from the East Bay soccer community and beyond. This large number of players, representing several different ethnic backgrounds, naturally leads to one of the club’s greatest strengths: diversity. Diversity plays a prominent role throughout our teams and across our staff. EBUSC represents a thriving soccer community branching from all walks of life. We provide need-based scholarships to 25% of our players and we are fully committed to supporting our community as well as developing players and coaches of all ages, races, ethnicities, religions and financial backgrounds. We nurture the importance of diversity in our club and believe our strength is largely rooted in making the soccer experience possible for everyone. Through this focus, players and coaches develop awareness and understanding of how to lead and communicate across different cultural backgrounds and in different situations.
