Q: Why?

  1. In February 2017, NorCal announced they would move the league-wide tryout window from February to May to comply with US Soccer mandates concerning playing formats. This change created a three month “bubble” in the annual calendar. Please find this announcement from NorCal Premier dated February 20th, 2017. You can read more about US Soccer Player Development Initiatives by clicking THIS LINK or downloading the attached FAQ provided by US Soccer.
