Alex Sifuentes scored her fourth goal of the year, and it was the game-winner in Sonoma State’s 1-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills. Twin sister Cecilia Sifuentes also continues to shine, starting all 15 games for the Seawolves as a freshman defender and playing a big part in the team’s impressive 0.71 Goals-Against-Average.

Max Oldham was once again involved in an important goal for Cal.  He had the assist on the Bear’s goal that earned his team a crucial Pac-12 point with a 1-1 tie against Stanford. Oldham has started all 12 games for the Bears, in which he has contributed 2 goals and 6 assists.


Drew Ranahan was honored by both teams in the senior day match for Virginia Tech. After losing his senior season due to an injury, the coaches from Pitt and Virginia Tech found a special way to pay respect to the captain. Drew got his first start of the season, allowing the crowd to clap him off the field with an early substitution. The match ended in a 0-0 draw.

Chelsea Archer picked up an assist in University of Washington’s 3-0 win against Oregon State. Washington moved up to #11 in the NSCAA rankings and sits in third place in the Pac-12 with a 4-2 conference record and an 11-4 overall record. Twin sister Christina Archer has also been a major contributor to the team’s success, starting all 15 games for the Huskies.
